A respected industry leader and passionate advocate for the widescale deployment of decarbonized energy assets across the grid from residential and industrial applications to utility-scale projects. His vision centres on creating a clean energy future that is inclusive, affordable, and equitable, addressing both the drive to net zero and the urgent need to reduce energy poverty.
With over 15 years in senior roles within the renewable energy sector, Jason has led initiatives in biogas, hydro (Severn Trent Water), battery manufacturing (Hoppecke, GivEnergy), and solar distribution (Segen, HDM Solar). His broader career spans global companies such as Caterpillar and Rapiscan, and his work has taken him across multiple continents, engaging with governments and agencies worldwide.
Jason is the founder and driving force behind the Energy Storage Association (UK), the new trade body championing storage as a cornerstone of the UK’s clean energy transition. Closer to home, he remains committed to regional impact as a visiting entrepreneur at Staffordshire University, a board advisor at Solarport and a board member of Staffordshire Community Energy.
