Dr Simon George is the Managing Director of NovaSci Ltd a company with extensive experience in data management, systems design, data visualisation, mechatronics and programming. Our services have been used to design and produce processes ranging from small-scale education models to demonstrate PV system circuit control, to large-scale industrial hydrogen production systems. Dr George has also held a part-time lectureship since 2016 at Keele University in Green Technology and Environmental Sustainability within the School of Geography, Geology and the Environment with a focus on energy systems, environment, circularity, and Green IT. He has experience of research and development, and commercialising innovation in advanced technological and industrial applications. He has 30 years’ experience of business engagement: working with sectors from basic manufacturing to defence and construction. Management of projects spans departments with diverse project teams across private and public sector organisations. He holds a BSc in physics and physical electronics from Bath University, an MSc in mechatronics from Hull University and a PhD in engineering from Aberdeen University.
