Alaa is a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science at the University of Derby and a Fellow of the Data Science Research Centre. His research focuses on explainable AI, deep learning, and computer vision, with applications ranging from medical imaging to autonomous systems. Drawing on experience from roles at the University of Buckingham and Cranfield University, Alaa brings both academic and applied insight into how AI can solve real-world challenges.
