The University of Bedfordshire (UoB) provides career-powered education at campuses in Luton, Bedford and Aylesbury across 9 schools in 3 faculties – UoB Business School, Faculty of Technologies, Education and Social Sciences and Faculty of Health, Community and Life Sciences. It offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses as well as apprenticeships. The University appears in the Times Higher Education World Young University rankings as one of the top 300 universities in the world under 50 years old.

The university also leads in research through its 10 dedicated research institutes. At the last Research Excellence Framework assessment in 2021, 60% of the University’s research was judged world leading or internationally excellent.

The university is a Small Business Charter holder for start-up and business growth advice including workshops and consultancy. Of particular note is Bedfordshire’s top ranking in the People and Planet university league table.
